Default question

I recently bought a 1993 mustang lx and it is a 5.0..I ran a carfax and it says it is a 2.4l 4 cyl. I don't know if the carfax is right becuase carfax said my dodge stealth r/t was an es model. I was just wondering if there is any other way to check if it was a 8 cyl. conversion.

uhhhh they didn't have a 2.4 litre in a fox.. it was a 2.3 litre ...4 banger2300cc look at the 8 th digit for the motor code if it's a 90's stang it'll have an M for the 4 cyl designation as that's what mine was and now I converted it to a 5.0
