Default e5ae vs e7

Whats the difference? Im looking at a 306 w/ e5ae's on it. Its a fresh block etc... Sounfds like a good deal but arent the e5's more restrictive etc? Thanks guys

E5's are nearly identical to E7's, other than the E5 having a bit larger or a chamber.

Man, Ford really did a great job withall of those heads(E6SE,D8OE,E5AE E7TE)..let me tell ya. I wish i knew who designed them, id like this kick him in the nuts.

yeah but as crappy as ford did, just think how sad a gm 305 is compared trust me i have a 150hp 305 in a 84 firebird s/e.
for me it all depends on the price, heads can always be replaced and tossed in the trash as adder puts it,lol. what are we talking 306 motor wise??? is it a roller? whats in and on it? price?
