Default Slight backfire when cold

hi everyone, i seem to be having trouble when the motor is cold if i dont let the car warm up for atleast 5 minutes then it tends to back fire at around 3-4k rpms, and feels like a serious drop on power also when its still cold could i plan to recheck my timing my plugs, wires. What else should i check? Also like i said in my other posts before i bought it, it probly sat for about 6 years and i think that has something to do with it. Thanks in advance for your advice.
