aluminum still gets warm though. My aluminum bomz gets prety warm.
does the BBK make a constant sucking sound? i think thats why my Bomz isn't making a constant sucking sound, because the piping is the same all the way threw the whole CAI, and you said your BBK has a smaller part where the filter is.
i want to change mine out to maybe a brand that could produce that sucking sound. i was hoping maybe BBK could do it.

I recently purchased a cold air intake for my buddies hona civic for about 20.00 dollars and it's held up now for about 3 months. I would reccomed one of the cheap ebay intakes to anyone.

After a few days of *** whopping, the intake holds up fine and doesnt over heat at all, its the only touchable thing under the hood. I otta admit i like it and the sound is so nice.
