I am working on a mod that looks acceptible for putting the spedo from an 89 into an 86 cluster. Nothing you cant do with a dremel and a pair of scissors. I have to work out the different colored lettering and needles but it fits and fits well.

I had to use the trip meter from the old one for the reset buttom to work. Still working out the bugs on the Tach so that they match. Needles are a different size.

evrything is gone except the old stering wheel. im not switching the dash anytime soon if at all. my original spoiler was cracked, i was missing a mirror, and someone broke into my car so i did the windows. i sold what i had to a 86 guy around here. still ha a 86 drivers manual mirror, but thats it bro[

i wonder if i can just get a differant speedo and shove it in there!lol i dont like the deal with where u have to send them your old one and they just recal it and ad a new gauge face for like 150 bucks...to me thats lame stuff. i want a completely new unit for a bill fifty

are you talking about the 83-86 speedo? cause those are not relabeled, those are REAL 140mph made by Ford Motorsports
