Default brake question

I have a 94 GT and I am having problems with the brakes pulling to the left when I hit them. The pads and rotors do not look bad but they are not new either. Also my ABS light is on. Could the two be related. Somone told me the Abs light could be on because I run different size tires front to back. Is this true? A shop suggesteda weak caliper could be the cause of it pulling. Any suggestions? Thanks

Alignment, Bad Bushings, Bad Tie rod end, Bad Caliper, or Bad rotor. Take your pick. could be anyone of these.

I would start with an inspection of your front end. Have it inspected by a reputable alignment shop. They should be able to tell what is going on quickly. See if you can find one that will actually drive the car and see what it is doing. Not just throw it on the rack and guess.

I had one that was pulling to the right and it turned out to be a bad tie rod end. It was just starting to go bad so the only time the problem showed up was during braking.

Default RE: brake question

The abs senses how fast each tire is moving during braking. So if you are pulling to the left it could also be that the sensor on your right is going out and the system is not applying as much pressure to that side. If I recall correctly they are the same on both side in the front so swap the sensors around and see if it changes. Cheap trouble shooting trick.
