i had this problem about a month ago.i replacedwith a newiac and cleaned the throttle body/ tps/ air filter. re-tighten everything and haven't had a problem withthe idle since. go through and check for vacuum leaks, check all your plug-in and make sure they are fully connected. hopes that help!

Already replaced Idle bypass solenoid and Mass Airflow Sensor. I've cleaned the Throttle body.and TPS. I will check timing and adjust TPS tomorrow. I can't find a vac leak anywhere. I'm running out of patience here!! LOL.

When it's slowing down, are you taking your foot off the gas completely or easing it off??? 5speeds will tend to hang up about 1500 rpm when you put in the clutch and then drop when you come to a complete stop... I've owned 3 and they all did that (among numerous other I know of)... Don't know why... If your easing off, check the throttle body for binds or the TPS may be bad... Clogged fuel filter can do it too...

There is no vac line on the MAP sensor. I looked around and cannot find a loose vac line. Where is this line supposed to run from?

take a look at a possibly loose harmonic balancer. that makes them idle funny and timing virtually impossible.

While the car is running, move the 10-pin connectors(salt&pepper shakers) around. See if you get any idle flucuations. If so, I'll give you the steps to have this remedied.
