control arms
I just put an 8.8 rear end out of a wrecked (it just had front end damage) 87 mustang with 3.73 in my 83 mustang and my car doesn't have the quad shock brackets. I am getting horrible wheel hop and I have heard that new control arms will get rid of that. I have just started looking around for some and was wondering if anyone thinks that these would be good http://www.steeda.com/products/weightjackers.php. Or if anyone has any other recommendations let me know.

RE: control arms
You could with minor mods add quad shocks. The Rearend has the has the brackets so all you need is the quad shock setup from a wrecking yard, a drill, and a couple of bolts. Let me know if you want and I can send you some pics of how they install. It is an easy and cheap mod.

RE: control arms
Would installing the quad shocks completly get rid of my wheel hop?
Also my plans are to make this into a weekend warrior with some respectable horse power when I get out of collegeso I would be willing to spend some money now on control arms if there are some good ones out there at agood price.

RE: control arms
If I were you I would just go ahead and get the U/L control arms and not worry about the quad shocks.
Thats what I did, I went with UPR adjustable lowers and double adjustable uppers

I took mine off put on umi lift bars and adj uppers. no wheel hop
I have the mounts that mount to the body the upper mounts of my 1994
if you want them you can have them just pay the postage
I guess you could weld them on?
your best bet would be to upgrade to better bars thoo...good luck
