351 or 302?

Default 351 or 302?

ok ive got my hands on a 302 out of a lincon mark 7 dont know what year . and i also have a 351 windsor not sure what year but it is fuel injected . its out ot a 85 f150 not orginal motor i think its like a 93 or so . which one would build if you guys had a choice. im looking for power. its just going to be sitting on a stand untill its all put togeather . thanks alot nick

No Replacement for displacement.

You are probably going to have to buy an oil pan, engine mounts and all that good stuff for the 302 anyway so why not spend the money on the bigger motor. You want major power the 351 will get you there. You can get more power per dollar out of the 351.

agreed if you are looking for the most power go with the 351, o and the 351 can hold like 600hp+ if done up correctly while the 302 can only manage around 500-

I agree fully. The 351 is the way to go...Period. For a little bit of cash up-front you can stroke one for not a whole lot more than a stroker kit for a 302 and be the envy of all your buddies
