my car has high oil pressure from when i start till i shut it off it doesnt really move if anything the pressure goes up... my car also takes 7 qrts of oil lol im guessing someone put a bigger pan in it... if thats the case then it must have a diffent pump then right? coudl that be for the high oil pressure?

i wouldent worrie about it, you prob have an larger pan as well as an highflow pump. high oilpreasure is a hell of alot better than no oil preasure

yeah what is high? also if you can take a picture of the oil pan we can tell you if it is a bigger pan or not.

its in the middle of the "L" in normal on the guage.

THta's where mine is usually on start up. but will go down a little bit. I also have an 86 with diff gauges and 140K on the ticker.

That's my point exactly...without a real mechanical gage, who knows if it high or low...

true, i dont know how the gauge in your stang is but on mine L would be low mine runs on the O witch is about 70psi i think, but like philly3384,stan69mach1377 who knows you cant really read it.
