Default Too small of an intake?

I see a lot of guys running 70mm TBs and 76mm MAFs on bolt on cars and built 306s. That's the same size I'm running on my 347 with a TruFlo C&L elbow. I think I may be suffocating it. Here's the complete spec

SCAT 347 Rotating assembly @ 10.5:1 CR
Comp Cams XE274HR .555/.565
AFR 185 Heads w/ upgraded valve springs
Extremely ported GT40 Lower (got to be profressional, looked really well done)
1" Intake Spacer
Comp Cams Polymer Powerbox Upper
70mm TB
C&L TruFlo Tube
76mm MAF
BBK 1-3/4" LT Header
O/R X-Pipe
Flowmaster Catback

The GT40 Lower runners look like a silver dollar could fit in them.

I'm also trying to think which size to go if/when I go up. 80mm TB 90mm MAF? Trouble is finding a 90mm MAF, haven't looked that hard, just on eBay, really. But then the other issue is the intake tub which would still be 76mm, what do you do there?

TIA

get your mass air from PMAS they have a 95 mm that works great. for any injector. i dont think you can go to big on the mass air.

try brothers performance. i try to find a link for you. however, i can't find the part on the website. the 90mm 03 lightning mass air meter is in there catalog. the part #FMM12579L54 price $169.99. 1996-up 4 prong applications or use new connector listed to adapt. try that "bro"!

I think you're right, and they're going overkill, which is bad.

You can find 90mm Lightning MAFs for faily cheap, i got mine brand new for $20 shipped off eBay. Couple catches, you need a tune and different MAF harness to run it, but its very accurate and reliable. Also depending on your intake setup might take a lil extra to install it.
