I was told that the phenolic spacers would become brittle and crack over time. Is this true? I was going to put one on my car but was worried about it not lasting. My friend said it wasn't worth the hassle and that I would be taking it apart in a year and throwing the spacer away. Any of you guys running the spacers succesfully? Mine is a daily driver, about 100 miles to work a day.
