Default headers

is there a big difference in shortys to full length? someone told me no but just looking for feedback before i go out and get em

longtubes give you more power...you will lose more low end torque with longtubes, but they aren't really "needed" unless you have soem serious mods...but longtubes, on any application, give more power..

so would BBK full length headers be a good choice for performance and sound?or should i look at another brand?

bbks are about the best to get if your pocket book is deep enought i highly recommend ceramic coated longtubes the chrome will rust. and yea the longtubes are better

You probably just need shorties. I researched for months and ended up getting Tri-Y's.. Haven't tried them yet, but seem to be a good median.. From what I'm told.. Dyno could prove otherwise.

dont mean to steal the tread.. but how hard is to install some headers?? do i have to lift the engine or would i have enough room without raising it. is long tubes harder or easier then shortties?

long tubes are much more difficult to install than shorties, and in some cases, you will need to change your engine mounts when you put headers in... they have a tendency to sag and cause the headers to rub on stuff
