Default car wont stay running? help

I think that my module is going bad. My car starts but cuts off after idleing for a second. If I hold the gas and keep the revs up it will cut off and on , but keep running because the rpms are up until it picks it back up again. Has any one had this problem before?

When I rev it up it it cut on and off, it doesnt run smooth like a vacum leak. Its like you take the key and tuen it on and off evry few seconds.

so, no matter what itll cut off after a few seconds of running? sounds like the ignition module, on the side of your distributor, but id check to be sure before you replace it
