Headers glowing

You're running too lean. Check your fuel pressure and intake hoses (and intake) for air leaks. Retarding the timing will help to a point.

Every time that i turn the car on, the headers start to turn red at the bends. It starts first on the drivers side on the 3rd cylinder. I know to retard the timing, i tried but there is a point where you retard it so much that you can not turn the car on. Any suggestions?

pull the spout connector ...check timing with a light and set base timing between 10 degrees and 12 degrees then reinstall spout and see if headers glow......
Usually Fat rich conditons will cause exhaust temps to be low..not glowing hot..Lean,,exhaust temp go up and start to glow...Also another possible cause would be a timing issue..way to much timing or notenough...might wannacheck the timing....with the spout disconnected..
