A9L's I think, have been in the "discontinued" list of parts for a while. You can have them remanufactured by Cardone, or buy them with a core exchange through any of the big chain auto parts.

Would the A9L be better than my stock A3M computer or it a waist of money?

I think the difference would be very minimal, and all of these computers can be chipped and reprogrammed on a dyno for around $500 anyway.

OK, thanks. Don't know that my mods are enough for a burned chip, but I was told (from the seller of an A9L) that it would fit my mods better than my stock one. I think the A9L came out of the Cobra's or GT's? I do have the old Hypertech chip plugged to my computer.

The A9L was from the GTs. The Cobra had the X3Z thats already calibrated for the cars 24# fuel injectors, larger maf, and whatever else came on the car from the factory. Otherwise I don't know, I'm changing my fuel injectors, converting to maf (24#), and installing the A9L computer to go with my cam and other mods and I'll be taking it to get a chip burnt for it.

Maybe the A9L would be a better match, was 19# stock injectors, but as far as I know the cam is stock, but the guy I bought the car from said the guy he bought it from bored it to 306, mild cam, and the heads are not stock. Not sure what heads but I changed my plugs and asked for 93 5.0 plugs, they would not thread into the block, too short. A friend gave me Autolite22c's which had a longer thread and they seem to work. Can't find any markings on the heads to know what they are.
