Default AOD??

hey guys, jsut wondeirng how much power an AOD could handle before it goes boom. I am going to be putting a torque converter on it and a shift kit.....any thoughts how to make it stronger with out breaking the bank would help. (trying to go fast for cheap doesnt work, I know this but my dad who is also helping out with this project wants to go fast for nothing and doesnt believe me when i say "you got to pay to play").

Well torque converters and shift kits dont make it last any longer than stock.. It just helps it run better or makes it run more to what you like. To make it stronger would be adding one piece shafts and hi pro clutchs. But it could handle maybe 350 tq maybe 400.
