Can I use an 89AOD ECC processor with a 5 speed manual trans. Swapping out my AOD and installing everything from a donor car except the A9L processor (he sold it).</P>

i read that the a9p ecciv is better in the t5 car then the a9l. something about making it run a little richer. this is what they used to do when the 5.0 first came out. you can also check this out in the officail ford mustang 5.0 hanbook

 

Is the A9P the AOD ECC processor??

 

yea that is the one i pulled out of my 89aodgt parts car
