ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGER? WTF?
The other day (4 hours ago lol) i was on ebay and i came across this

Its an electric supercharger, and its perhaps the most oddball thing ive ever seen. If you read on it tells you how it works and how easy it is to install and that it gives serious rwhp numbers. I want to see what you all think of this, beacuse to tell you the truth, it seems like its worth it for 80 bucks even if it doesnt work right. I really am at a loss of words and want to see what you think

it does not work at all, you will lose horsepower by placing this $80 electric air restrictor in. poo has more value.
there are electric superchargers that work, but they cost around $400 or so and work well with smaller motors (1.6 - 2.0 L). even still, they don't provide much boost, perhaps 2-3 pounds over atmosphere.
buy it anyway.

Looks like a blower for a wood stove....Supposed to flow 1200 cfm, but I'm sure thats open. Put some restriction on it and it will crap out. They also sell ones that look a little different, same idea, but they're actually bilge pumps for a boat.....Pass them over.
