Tightening the cable stops the noise, but does not fix the problem. Buy the up-grade retainer and a newTWB also cable, quad and FW adjuster. I have had to change out two TWB in the past year due to premature failure.

you dont have to remove the flywheel... the clutch fork is only clipped on inside, you just give it a good tug, turn it sideways, an the fork and throwout bearing will slide right out of the bellhousing

Throw out bearing....I spent all day yesterday figgerin out the GD firewall / fork adjustment to get mine to quit......no wonder my Huffy never braked right. LOL
