Default 347 Stroker

I am sitting here watching Horsepower TV and they just built a 347 with about a 500 lift cam and edelbrock heads. 1000cfm throttle body and put it on an engine dyno and only made 370ish HP. does that sound right... I thought a 347 would be more like 400+. Thats what im building so i was just curious what your experiences were.

Didn't they say something about it was going to be used over at Extreme 4x4 or something like that. I heard it when they pulled the first run and it was like 306hp, I allmost fell outta my chair at that point, then the second run came out with 372hp. Small cam, big heads and fuel injection. Carb all the way FTW!!!!!!!

its possible they usedlow compression pistons insted of the flat top ones they showed. I kept mycompression at9 to 1 because i have plans to supercharge themotorin the near future. when i had my car dyno tuned it made about 380 hp at the fly wheel.
