Default anyone that has taken off the intake manifold

any of you that know the 5.0 and has taken off the upper intake off, there is a wire that is screwed on to one of the upper manifold mounting bolt by the pcv valve?, where is that from (the wire that is mounted to that bolt) does it have to do with grounding the ecu? after i tolk mine appart it seems to of disappeared? anyone know?

its just a ground...not a huge deal...usually bolts to the block then to the firewall

is he talking about the weird peice of mettal bar that bolts to the lower to the block??? that thing isnt a wire. i never put it back on mine for the same reason, plus it looked like it was more for support

No, I believe he is talking about the 'braided' ground wire. Mine was grounded to the block and the firewall. That isa very important ground. Be sure to replace it if you can't find yours. I don't know how you would lose that, but hey, anything's possible.

This is where mine is as well. Bolts to the back of the head and then to the firewall.
