Default IAC

Can i puta pipe plug in my throttle body to block off the hole for the IAC? The reason that i am wanting to do this is because i bought this 70 mm BBK tb and for whatever reason, the air goes into the hole in the inside of the tb (right b4 the throttle body where the iac is located) and the air runs right out the back even when i drive the screw, which is supposed to control how much air gets through there, all the way down. It causes the car to idle at 1700 with the tb completely shut. Its acting like a vac leak but i know that this is the problem, If anyone could let me know asap it would be awesome.

sorry man, i dont, i need a digital camera lol. There is a hole that is on the inside of the tb, this hole has air going through the iac and then from there, it goes out the back of the tb, into the intake. there is a screw on top of the tb that is supposed to control how much air goes into there. For w/e reason, that screw does nothing and its open all the way, full time. I put a pipe plug in there and opened up the throttle a little bit with the other screw that controls the butterfly and it runs nice. I just didnt know if the iac had any real purpose b/c now its running fine w/o it and i'm about to go get a tune in like 20 minutes in newport kentucky

I really hope you installed the correct one, assuming its for your '94, you need the SN95 type.....

From your description, looks like the IAC went fubar (=staying open).
