I'm getting 1.7 Ford Racing roller rockers for my GT-40 heads, but that's just me, to my knowledge they're all about the same, the name brands anyways. For the install I'd let a local shop do this one as there are tools needed for the valves seat install that most people don't have, I don't think it will cost more than $150 for a valve train swap.

Worth it, defiinitly gives you some decent gains because of the extra valve lift. If your using em on stock heads then just pick up some ford racing/Crane ones for 199 there the orginal equipment pedestal mount ones that were on the 5.0 cobras

DONT get the cheap ball and nut design.

Get full rollers, compcams are decent.

They dont make those for pedestal mount heads. Crane and FRPP are the same, if you keep an eye out you can get used ones pretty cheap. Make sure you get the shim kit with them.

SORRY so late into post......I run 1.7 crane rockers and no issues.....they come with thick and thin shims....set up is easy just make sure roller is centered on the valve tip.....and these just bolt up no tools and they are full roller.......
