t5 inspection, going to sell
i have a t5 that i got with a car i bought and the guy that sold it to me obviously said it was 100% in working order and had nothing wrong with it. well i am looking to get rid of this tranny and i wanted to know if there was a way i could inspect it to make sure i know what i am selling. i would hate to sell this on someone elses word who could have very well lied to me. it shifts fine through all the gears and when i spin boths shafts it makes no noise at all. anything else i can do to make sure it is good working order.. also how much is it worth?

hmm other than take the top off and inspect the sincro hub teeth for being mushroomed flat you'll only be able to speculate at the possible probs it may have..... other than install it and run it..it's a buyer beware situation of win, lose or draw

cool so what is it worth then 400? and on the other hand i have a good running aod tranny in my car right now how much do you think that is worth... doesn't seem like the autos are very desirable at all.
