Default Intake problem

I dont know what the part is called but it's not the EGR or the TPS but it's attached to the front of the throttle body on the front with a plug in, well i removed it to put another one on a friend gave to me and the car wouldnt start, so i put my old one back on turned it over for a few and it started back up, well like a dumbass i thought it was a fluke, so i put the other one back on and it didnt start again, so i put my old one back on and the f***** wont start again, it's DOA this time, any ideas? and anyone know what that part is?

It is called your IAC.. It is a sensor, and needs to be kept clean. I took mine off and cleaned it, reinstalled it and have had zero problems. Maybe you should try to clean it and make sure the push rod in it is not frozen, if so, get a new one, and make sure the connection is clean.
