Default TPS setting

alright i read to read the setting u use a voltmeter which i did no theres two wires on this sensor... one was reading 1.14 the other was reading .2 lol now it smells rich but my engine codes said its running lean what the **** is this **** lol... which wire is the one that has the right reading? its red and white and the other is a single color i think... on a 95 cobra... if anyone knows let me know its ridiculous lol

Do you have catalytic converters on your car? If you dont then it will tend to smell like it is running rich although it isn't.. On the 87-93Gt's the wire is a green only wire, should be around .98 - .99

yeah thats all i read on those forums that its a green wire but i have a 95 and its a different color... two wires each wire has its own reading lol .. i dont have cats yeah thats prob why it smells rich when it really isnt... this sucks

the one that showed 1.14 was the one you are supposed to be probing. Mine was at 1.21 when I checked it. I got mine down to .99 by turning the idle screw until I reached .99

you can adj. it with the ide screw as long as its close and your idle does not change too much. but normally you loosen the 2 screws and trun it until its good.
