Well im new to the forum and I like what ive seen so far lots of great info, I was recently taking a night drive through town when this idiot pulled out in front of me, followed by a big SLAM of the brakes, well at the next light my stang was running like crap, i stopped at the service station to check the brake booster the vaccum line was hooked up so im just baffled at what the problem could be so i dug a little deeper i removed the upper half of the intake to find some hoses dryrotted and one completely off. Does anyone know where the hose facing the firewall under the intake connects to? Could this be the problem and if not what will?
Thanks
-Matt
no its the the hose directly under the manifold where one half goes to the vapor canister i guess and the other half points towards the firewall not the pcv wish it was that easy lol
I believe it plugs into the vacuum tree on the firewall. But it really isn't all that necessary. Just plug the vaccum post on the bottom of the manifold.
