Fuel injection upgrade, when is it needed on a 5.0?
Was wondering when a fuel injection up grade is needed in a 1994 mustang cobra. Im sure im pretty far away from it with just CAI and a chip, but i am looking into pulleys, headers and exhaust. Is that anything to worry about or will i need to up grade the injectors when i plan to do any of those?

people usually bump up to 24 lb/hr injectors when they get heads, you got some time before youll need the 24s. im still running 19s with a lot of mods but no heads and i can bump up the pressure if i need to run a little richer.

Really, with the MAF it doesn't really matter what size you get, because the TB is what regulates what goes into the engine. So if you plan on doing a fair bit of tuning, probably 75+; if you plan on doing a lot of tuning, you will most likely need a 83ish.
You don't have to get a huge one, but it is one way to save some money. That's what I plan to do, buy a large MAF and have the TB control the air flow, that way I won't need to buy 3 different MAFs during my upgrading.

or you could buy a C&L maf that only needs a cheap sampling tube if you ever want to move up in injector size. www.jdsperformance.com sells them and the tubes.
I have a 73mm C&L maf and i love it.
