Default rear differential cover

i plan on having rear gears installed in my mustang was wondering if i can use my stock rear cover or should i get and aftermarket one. what would be a good after market cover to use. how are the mac rear dif covers is anyone using one

You can keep your stock one. Aftermarket ones are verrrry expensive.

if your not planning on drag racing the car, 6k launches on slicks... an aftermarket cover is a bit excessive.

well arent you special... 300hp aint nothing..
I made 276rwhp on my stock motor... and my stock tranny... and my stock rear end.

you dont need it. I'll be making 400hp on my new engine... and I'll still be running my stock rear

oh yea.. avoid ANYTHING that is made by MAC... ive had nothing but problems with ALL of their items

Default I have the MAC cover and like it

very nice piece and the drain and fill plugs are very handy. I would buy it again. JMO

You don't need it and yes, stay away from MAC. I had theirupper and lower control armsand the bushings came apart in about 10,000 miles while the shorties I had were a real POS.
