Default drag racing question

im not sure what kinda racing its called, i think true street? but the lights drop at the same time for both cars, then they just wait there after the lights turn green then eventually they go? how does this kinda racing work??? thanks a lot!

I assume your talkin about heads up racing (fastest car wins) and not bracket racing where there is a staggered tree. Dunno what you mean by they sit around after the light turns green...maybe some bad r/t's....haha i dunno.

no, BOTH of the cars just waited, then one took off, and the other like RIGHT after the 1st one took off
