Throttle problem
Hi, I have a 89 mustang with 351W 5-speed. I have a weird problem the car would start and drive great in the morning, but once I get it warm I get this weird throttle problem in neutral I give it a little gas to like 2000rmp and release the gas paddle and the engine stays at 2000rmp like the butterfly in throttle body got stuck? This also happens when I come to a stop and what ever engine speed the car was when I took it off gear it stays that way. This started happing about a week ago and it would do it randomly but now it does it all the time. I installed all this hoping it would fix the problem - new TPS, idle motor, 76mm C&L air sensor, timing is set at 12 degrees, picture below is the picture of that engine a lot of new parts. can’t find any vacuum leaks I thought it was a bad gasket or something. Can any one help me? Any help would be appreciated.
