Tranny build!
well, i got about $300 saved for my tranny ( long ways to go i know ) what all should i get internals so i will be able to run slicks down the road??? what brands??? its gonna be a dialy driver/ strip car almost evey friday night. any suggestions PLEASE!!! thaks a lot!!!

Not a clue bobby. I don't do performance upgrades in my line of work. Maybe a shift kit here and there on occasion. Someone will surely come along with some good info. Keep the faith!

If it's a daily driver Bobby i wouldnt drive it on slicks all the time because you cant drive on slicks well in the rain my friend had them on his 86 5.0 Mercury Capri and he hated them in the rain so he switched to Drag radials if it is gonna be a daily driver I would say go with Drag Radials just my 2 cents as far as beefing up a AOD i am not sure they sell kits and have shift kits but I havent looked at those because I have a t-5 your best bet would be vfast or roundman or mdvalosta probably.

well first a good stall will help a ton as will a trans-go shift ket and a trans cooler these are the must have's..now it depends how hard the car will be use and how long you keep it but using a stronger spang and some kevlar clutches with a real good pump should be ok...

thanks for the replies!!! i metn just run slicks or radals at the track only. if i build it all up it should last as long as stock( if i drove it the same) right??? thanks!!!
