the only problem is my car dosent have heat so when they froze up solid back in december the only way in and out of my car was the hatch, that was a serious bitch, especialy seems how i had over 300lbs of scrap semi truck break drums in the back for traction (i work at a factory that manufacutes break drums for semis)

brake the window?
no i had to throw my body weight against the door to break the ice.... im so mad, before last night you had to know how to open my driver side door to get in but now the plastic part is completly separated from the mechanism and the only way to get in is to open the door from the passenger side.... anyone know how much it would run me to have a ford dealership install a new outside handle for me?

all you need is a drill, a rivit puller and some new doorhandles. On ebay they sell steel handles so you don't have to worry about the cheap plastic ones again. Some auctions also have installation kits with them so you don't have to worry about riviting them.
