I am building my AOD now and i was wondering if anyone knew of any pics of the install with the lokar kit for kick down. unless anyone has a kindergarden style of explanation. Maybe im just getting all carried away over nothing.

i dont have the "lokar kit" but i can post some pics of my kick down setup, (im also running acarbed 5.0) if you want to see it. its pretty simple to hook up, a couplebars conected to the throttle on carb and a little cable going to tranny

Thats a pretty good article. I ran the Lokar cable on my F150 to the lower hole onmy Demon carb, and the "throw" on the carb is shorter than the throw on the TV lever, so the TV valve did not open all the way under full throttle. The distance from thecenter of the butterfly shaft on the carb, to the cable attachment, should be the same as the distance from the center of the TV shaft, to the end of the lever where the cable attaches on the TV lever. Clear as mudnow?
