Default Hack exhaust

I just took a good look under my car, looking for my exhast leak. I realized some moron decided to weld every joint in the exhaust system except for where the headers meet the h pipe, which isn't a h pipe it has no crossover. Is this a bad thing. Also I think that the hangers being welded caused the pipes to crack after the mufflers is this possible?

Have you talked to a muffler shop to see if they are able to weld up the exhaust? Is it in your budget to replace the exhaust system? You did say it is a hack setup, get it done right or patch up the problem.

Your headersare not suppose to be welded to your midpipe. If I were you I would buy a new midpipe, you can get one cheap if it is catless. Your exhaust will sound alot better if you had a crossover in your midpipe. First take it to a muffler shop and they can tell you where the leak(s) is.
