hell if i had a 93 cobra i'd put a turbo on it, that car would be sick as hell. and age doesent matter it's driving ability. When i was 12 i was in supercart leagues goin 90 mph. the first time i dragged at the track i was 14 and no permit. as long as he controls himself and learns his car well before he tries to be a badass he should be cool, and being 16 with a 93 cobra sounds better than being 16 with a tuner car anyday

Welcome to the site and congrats on the future purchase!!! Before you mod the car, if this is your first sports car take your time and learn the performance aspects of driving it in its current condition. Since you are on a budget wait and save up the mods you plan to make. Everything that you take off the motor keep it, do not sell it. Just in case you need to put it back to stock you have all original parts to back on it. Above all else be RESPONSIBLE!! I wasn't when I was young and Iwent through the neighbors backyard and running from cops....I'll save the rest of the stories forthe discussion forum.

Lol, reminds me of this summer. I was cutting the grass at my grandfathers house, I went around the back for a bit, then when I came back out front there was a fox body wrecked in the front yard.

Turns out the kid just got it, was 16, had 2 of his friends in the car and came around a bend and threw the *** end out, then went in the nieghbors yard, down a hill(nosedive in grass) then took out some bushes. Managed the mess up the whole front end, stall the motor, all that good stuff, radiator leaking.

That was just an LX auto that the previous owner put 4.10s in.

Well maybe they are 3.55's. Like I said, they were on in the car when I bought it.
