Yeah I know the answer, now stop being an ***

Basically your valve both intake and exhaust will open at about the same amount of tappet lift. From bdc to approx. .004-.006 of tappet lift your valve will begin to open.

Clear as mud? Or would you like me to go deeper?

Excellent article, we basically said the same thing except that article put it in degrees rather than " of lift.

Cool.

Number one....That link worked great for me. Two I was explaining where the valve opens in terms of INCHES...Another words, from zero movement (closed) to the point at which the valve begins to open is .004-.006 of an inch.

If that makes no sense, then I apologize. That link works fine that 67302 posted...for me it did.

17°/69°/0.278
Intake Open is the first number, Intake closed is the second, and lift is the third.

67°/19°/0.278
Exhaust respectively.

That is from the linky

lol, yeah. That was a good link, I'm saving it incase somebody else needs it. I really got a little too specific with my answer. Sometimes simple is better
