Hey all, I just got done doing my 1.7 Crane bolt on Roller rockers, and my Trick Flow intake. When I put the 1.7's On I just bolted them down until they bottomed out. I didn't use any shims either. I got it all done, and I started my car, I did not notice any change in lobe or anything. It did sound a lot deeper but I think it was mostly because of the intake.

My question is: Since I bolted the 1.7's all the way down without shims, It is pressing the pushrod down into the lifter would it not allow the lifter to fill up properly? When I drove my car it felt like I lost power, and I am sure I have.
I am thinking that the pushrod is unable to rock the rockers like it is supposed to because I didn't use any shims. What do you think?

I am taking it back apart tonight to redo it. So any suggestions before I start would be appreciated! Would like to hear from some of you who have done 1.7's... Thanks!!

Yo 91hatchgt, how did the street heat feel other than it sounding alittle deeper?.

I am not sure yet because I have the rockers on wrong, and they are killing my power.. I have less power than I had before, so I have to re-adjust them.. I will let you know how it goes next week.

The intake looks great, and made the car sound really good, but other than that, I am not sure.
