Mine had two leaks, one of the heater pipe fittings was bad, and one of the bypass hoses(small and fairly hidden) had a pinhole. Both are kinda in the area of the intake elbow, underneath and hard to get to. Take a picture of the passengers side of the intake manifold with the upper plenum off.

check the hoses that run from the front of the car to the left side inder the throttle body they should be to metal or plastic ones that hook up to the heater core, one in and on out, they are stacked right on top of each other and mine just slowly wore into eachother and caused a leak.

My experience with coolant leak after a rebuild was two pin holes in the metal tube that runs from the front of the intake to the back and then connects to the heater core with a rubber hose. it was a pretty bad leak squirting coolant onto the fender when I did short revs.

How it became an issue after rebuild was sombody had done some work to the pipe and covered the holes with a JB weld type substance, when i cleaned it up to make it look nice. i sandblasted and sanded all that stuff off. opening up the leak, now the Jerry rig is worse then it was before.
