no..thats definatly not the explorer intake..thats the tubular style real gt40 intake..ill run thru my computer heren see if i can find a pic of my intake..if not..well ya .lol idk..im not goin out tonight to take a pic..its cold, im sick..and lazy lol...

ok the intake alone is worth is $400, even w/out the egr stuff in the pic......the 3 hash marks are on the end of the head, like if you are facing the motor after popping the hood, i'll look for a pic

i can say right now...buy it, even if they are p's, you got a good deal, sell the p's and you have an intake for 1/2 of what it's worth or close to free

an no, cobra heads are NOT explorer heads, i don't care what anybody says

the lower intake manifold on the pre 97.5 explorers is the same exact casting as the GT-40... only difference is the upper. Later years they had different EGR revisions.

I forget the years, but the early 5.0 Explorers had GT-40s and the later 5.0 ones had the P's. The 5.0 Cobras only came with GT-40s but I haven't heard anything suggesting they are different from the GT-40s on the early Explorers aside from the valvetrain.

Either way, you should get that package just because of the intake that's included.

the heads have 3 bars on them will i need special headers? they are the normal gt heads
