Default GT40P heads and intake

will this really wake up my mustang i can get the combo with a mild port job for 400.00 just had a 3 angle i have a bone stock 94

im chatting with him right now 400 for the upper lower and heads guess its a fair deal i would need the elbow for the intake correct

Make sure you get headers that will fit the GT-40p's. They need a special header as opposed to other heads.

ok thanks for the header info would it be better to get the elbow for the intake or is there another way i can get that setup to work on my 94?

i have the gt40 intake on my 94 50...and i just bought idk i think i was likea mac intake elbow...it was cheap like 60 or 70 bucks..its polished but not super finish...idk it worked and it looks cool with that polished n the bbk throttle body, and then i painted the upper intake a gloss black high heat paint...looks pretty cool n works good...right now i just have the intake someday probably when this motor takes a crap..i want to put something better back in cough(stroked)cough lol...but for right now the 50 is holdin strong with 111k on it...

are they p heads or real gt40 heads ?

and intake ???? cobra, gt40 or explorer ?

real gt40 stuff mild port will make 300 hp......explorer stuff will cost you more and make about 250 tops

sorry just saw the heading....for explorer stuff i wouldn't pay more than $300 for heads and intake

i might be way off on this.but i thought the cobra gt40 heads n the early explorer heard like before 96 or something were the same thing?

well im gonna go look at them in the morning he said bottom line 400 for the tube style <GT40> upper and lower i asked him to look for the III or IIII bars and he says he cant find them but swears they are from a cobra idk first they are gtp then cobra guess i will just have to look at them where are the bars located on the heads?
