Not really "TECH" related but

i bought a tranny from my cousin and its been sitting outside since the summer no cover on it... shifter is on it and so is bellhousing... should it be fine?

should be fine, pull the shifter off, make sure no water is in there... and the input shaft isnt rusted over is it? if it is just clean it up

it should be fine ......just drain the fluid and refill it with fresh and turn it over by hand and shift it through the gears to make sure nothing is sticking or binding

as long as the speed sensor is still in the side, it should be sealed up fine
