Default Straight Piping

If I cut off my mufflers and add more tubing and straight pipe my 5.0 how will it sound with the stock pipes? I know it gets a deeper sound with a larger diameter tubing but I don't have the money at the moment.

I love the sound of the Flowmasters. I have an off road H pipe with Flowmasters and they sound mean. Never had a problem too. Look at the link in my signature and you`ll hear it.

Although it is illegal, with no cats, my friend went to the junk yard and took off the casing of them and installed them around my pipe. If I get pulled over, he`ll see that I have them

I am 16, lol no wife... yet... I want it to be loud yes, but if it's going to sound horrible no. I met a guy that had a t-bird with a 5.0 and he had his straight piped and the thing sounded awesome but I don't think they were stock pipes, they looked larger.

I will tell you I have mine straight piped I have stock headers and a BBK x-pipe thats it it ends were i sit i have flowmaster 40 series mufflersi am putting back on i had them on but my friend who put the left on didnt put it on tight so it fell no damage i am putting them back on in the spring as well as BBK equal length ceramic coated headers. Straight pipes are ok but i like mine with the flows on it better it had a better sound that is why there going back on go with ceramic coated shorties a x-pipe and flowmaster american thunder or 40 series for a good sund and upgrade to a mild cam down the road I mean straight pipes are ok but i like it better with my flowmasters on you scare alot of people with straight pipes and pi** ur mom and neighbors off but I am going back to flows it sounds better.
