Default A/C Delete

A/CCompressor went out on my '90 GT so I figure Ill just go ahead and delete it, save the weight and the strain.

Anything Special I Need To Know About Removing it? or just un-bolt and remove?

you can get a powersteering pump relocation bracket from ford racing... it deletes your A/C and moves your powersteering pump to the A/C location. Obviously.
I'm not sure if you can just remove the A/C compressor and call it good or if you need the bracket so you can put the belt back on properly.

yea and considering its a 90 model it probably has r12 and thats a serious fine, i cant remember if its a felony or not. i know that if you ever went to change it over to 134a at a shop they have to store it in a tank to either recharge r12 systems, which is unlikey, or dispose of it properly, which i dont know the technique. but if i was you id just leave it all there, and run a short belt. no need to move anything. call autozone and ask them for a belt that bypasses a.c. they should have a listing.
