I'm going to install mine on the underneath side of the upper intake in the rear. Remove one of the pressed in tubes, drill to proper size and tap.

can i put it after the mass air sensor right before the throttle body?

Do i need it to drive the car? like will it run bad if i dount have it on?

if you need to, you can hook the sensor up to the harness and let it just be there, like let it hang there or whatever. i have had to do it in the past. it wont really affect performance or anything.. you will definatly be able to get from point a to point be if that is what you are asking.
