ok i can either go with a ram clutch, new fork, quadrant & cable, or i can get the spec stage 1. the ram will be less and i can get it right when i need it 4 next week. it says the rating is up to 400hp. i will be getting the fork n everything no matter what just dont want to spend a whole lot on the clutch right now. money is really tight n the motor is pretty much stock.

ok and also i tried replacing my valve cover gasket the other day and it leaks worse now. should i not use any rtv on either side of the surface. it was a brand new cork gasket. should i get the blue silicon one and no rtv. what do i do?

anyone? really need help with the valve cover not so much the clutch.

You can't use silicone w/ cork gaskets. The gasket will squish out as you tighten it down. Buy the metal/rubber gaskets from ford or 50 resto. Then you won't have a problem. Cork FTMFL!!!

i know the cork are junk. i saw they have a blue type i think its what you just said with the metal. thank you.

no no no....just try this before you ditch the corks. just put weatherstrip adhesive on the valve cover and stick the cork gasket on top of it. it works great trust me

i thought though once i pull that back off its junk. its already coated in oil.

o n even besides the leak i had my coil go bad on me too. the problems never end.

you could shoot it with brake clean first. that weather strip stuff is pretty sticky
