Default what should i do?

well as you may know i have a 306 with hyp pistons 9 to 1 comp cams cam edelbrock performer rpm heads and intake and 1.6 roller rockers. it was in my old mustang that didnt have paint and lots of rust. i got a new one and i wanna do it right this time im def going fuel injection but i do not know if i should part out my motor and sell it and build a 331 or 347? or just do new pistons with higher compression and use my current setup. im a college student and it takes my awhile to save up money so what should i do to make the most power?

I would run the motor you have now in the new mustang, save up for a 331 or 347 shortblock then use your heads and so forth on the 331 or 347, but thats just me.

You can always have them ported and bigger valves installed.
