Default how to tell which lifter

i did the screw driver trick...andi found the spot thats the loudest but since they are so close together im wondering what to look for when i take the intake off. will the lifter look damaged? how can i tell

I'd check preload on the lifter and rocker armadjustment before removing the entire intake

remove all of your rockers and push the pushrods down as hard as you can into each lifter... the one thats not pumping up is the one you will be able to move the easiest. each lifter should have a slight amount of give to it... but will suddenly feel like it stops

i tried to push them down and all the lifters in that area are very hard to push down. one not easier then the other. is there any other way to check or anything else i should try

the intake is off...i didnt see anything to bad...one looked like it was chippeda little on the side.. thats about it
