Default Automatic Trans.

I was thinking about swapping in a t-5 but I believe that I want to keep the Aod. I was wanting to know if anyone knew of a really good place to buy a strong built aod.

I bought one from http://www.broaderperformance.com/ the owner/operator Jay is an honest and very communicative guy. It took a bit of time but I got one hell of a transmission. It came with a lentech VB... I got the first one he used their VB in... he dynos the transmissions he builds, esp concern with the AOD. Lentech does make kickass trans. but they cost more, are in Canada (i think so?) you have to pay extra to x the border (i think so?) and they will take quite a long time (??) If I were you Id contact both and get the price plus shipping for EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT.... or really if I had to do it again I would go for the newer AODE/4R70W even thought you need a "black box" IMO you'd be $$ ahead, you'd not have to get every last little thing changed like the gear set is already the nice one in the AODE/4R70W
check out my trans fresh from Broader, and my install:
